- How much does your lawyer cost?
In principle an hourly rate of EUR 125, exclusive of VAT, is charged. However, this may vary as a function of the complexity of the case and possible urgency.
In any case, the provisions of the fee are discussed beforehand with the client and the necessary information regarding the costs is provided. They are estimated as follows:
– administrative charges for creation of a file: EUR 75;
– cost price by letter/telefax: EUR 11;
– cost price by mail: EUR 9;
– typewriting: 10 EUR per typed page;
– registered letters: supplement of EUR 20;
– travel: EUR 0.45 per kilometre.
In terms of the fee and costs, deviating agreements may be reached with the client.
- Professional rules and codes of conduct
As a lawyer registered with the Bar Association, Marc Delannoye, LL.M. is subjected to the regulations of the Order of Flemish Bar Associations and the National Order, which can be consulted at http://www.advocaat.be/Page.aspx?genericid=87, as well as the regulations of the Bar Association of Brussels.
